Black &
White Black Bag was essential for those of us brought up on DC Thomson. I still think Viz is brilliant in concept & execution. Never having seen 'Grassy Knollington - Conspiracy Theorist' before I am impressed with the work that goes into making the cartoon - not just the 'Dirk Gently' interconnectedness of everything (it requires a lateral mind to readily come up with that stuff) but also with the plethora of interwoven authentic conspiracy facts & factoids. Grassy shows how you can easily create false connections to hide or ridicule true ones. Who in the UK under
age 60 has not absorbed the Viz meme and ridicule of the 'ideal' family
lifestyle portrayed by DC Thomson's benign characters? Viz was and is a
HUGE influence on UK counter-culture IMO. Sacred cows taken to task - who

anal fixation, and Christianity. One cartoon even manages to combine all

thinking. Viz is part of the Media. The media is controlled. A little more

that lets thru filth but holds back truth. A kind of ‘reverse’
